With the latest release of the UNC Carolina Theme we have built in the ability to customize the background and logo of your site.

Background
You can customize the background with a picture by going to Appearance – Background. Click “Choose a File” and browse to the picture on your local computer and click the “Upload” button. After the picture is uploaded you have three display options. All of these options are based off of the size of the picture you upload.
- Position: Left, Center, Right. This will determine where the picture is displayed in the background.
- Repeat: No Repeat, Tile, Tile Horizontally, Tile Vertically. These will repeat the image again and again.
- Attachment: Scroll, Fixed. Scroll will scroll the picture down as you scroll down the content of the page. Fixed will keep the background picture stationary while you scroll the content.
You can also customize and add a background color to your site instead of a picture by adding a Hex color to the background. For your reference Carolina Blue is #56A0D3.
Logo
You can customize the logo by going to Appearance – Logo in the Dashboard. You can use one of the predefined logos by clicking the “UNC Logo” dropdown and clicking the “Set Logo” button. You can also move the logo to the left side of the header by clicking the dropdown and selecting “Yes” next to “Move logo to left side of header:”.
If the logo you would like to use is not listed you can also upload a picture to be used as your logo by clicking the “Choose File” and “Upload” button below. After you upload the logo you will be able to crop it to fit the correct dimensions to fit on the site.
You can customize where visitors to your site are directed when they click on the logo by adding a URL in the “Custom Logo URL” at the bottom o the screen and clicking the “Save Settings” button.
